Each of our locations has its own Culture Team, whose members play a vital role in our employee events and acknowledgement programs. They organize activities that bring us together, honor achievements, and ensure everyone on our team knows just how much they’re appreciated. From handing out refreshments on hot days to coordinating team-building outings and lunches, our Culture Teams go above and beyond to make our workplace enjoyable and supportive for all.
Every spring and fall, each branch hosts a High 5 event, where we give out service awards, recognize those who exemplify our core values, and acknowledge major milestones. Each location’s spring High 5 is relaxed and follows a theme of their choosing, while our fall High 5 also serves as our Thanksgiving event. At our fall High 5, in addition to these same activities, we also turn our attention to gratitude and introspection, focusing on all the ways we’re thankful for each other and for our loved ones.
Whether it's through food, fun, or formal recognition, we make sure to show our gratitude for the hard work and dedication of our team.Team-building activities like our chili cookoffs, bowling, TopGolf outings, dinners, and happy hours help to foster camaraderie and fun outside of the workplace. And to make sure that exceptional efforts never go unnoticed, our recognition platform rewards employees for their length of service, customer commendations, contest wins, or kudos given by their team members.
During those scorching days, we shift gears to focus on keeping our team members comfortable and refreshed. Whenever the temperature climbs above 100 degrees, we make sure everyone on job sites, in manufacturing plants, and in warehouses stays cool with cold water, Gatorade, electrolyte popsicles, watermelon, and grapes to help beat the heat. It's our way of showing appreciation and ensuring our team stays hydrated and energized.
While these events are for our leadership team, they ultimately benefit our entire organization by fostering growth, alignment, and a shared vision across all levels. Leadership regularly gathers for events focused on updates, team building, company initiatives, and best practices. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in a leadership role is on the same page and equipped with the latest and greatest information to support and guide their teams effectively.
