Giving Back
We believe that building a better, more caring community starts with us. Our team is dedicated to giving back to those around us—supporting our friends and neighbors in need and creating a spirit of generosity and compassion.
Beyond our employee events, our Culture Team is also responsible for leading our charitable initiatives. At each of our locations, the on-site Culture Team plans drives, volunteer days, and other events that align with our employees’ goals and do the greatest good for the members of their unique community.
One of our largest initiatives, our Christmas Fund supports needy families during the holiday season and is a wonderful way for our team to spread joy and make a meaningful impact in our communities. For each of our employee donations, Wisenbaker matches the funds, which are then distributed by city. Our employees volunteer to shop for gifts and wrap them on our dedicated wrapping day, where employees come together during lunch to wrap hundreds of gifts in a festive, communal atmosphere. Before Christmas, our employee volunteers take the wrapped gifts and distribute them to the families in need.
Our employees are passionate about giving back to the communities where they live and work, and each of our branches organizes their own drives and charitable activities like school supply drives, blood drives, food drives, clothing drives, and coat drives to support those in need. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to creating a positive impact at the local level—making a difference and helping our community thrive.
We not only give back to our community, but we also give back to each other through the Wisenbaker Employee Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Wisenbaker Employee Foundation provides assistance and scholarship funding to our team members and their dependents. Through generous contributions from our compassionate employees, sponsorship raised through our yearly golf tournament and the company match of 1.5 as allowed by law.
