Robert Villarreal was a beloved member of the Wisenbaker team for many years before he passed away from cancer. To honor his memory, as well as his love of golfing with family and friends, the Wisenbaker Employee Foundation named the golf tournament as a memorial to Robert Villareal. The Foundation hopes that this tournament will continue to memorialize Robert and his contributions—and serve as a major fundraiser for employees experiencing medical hardships.
